Pinterest has launched a new Board Sticker option that allows you to promote a particular Pinterest board through your Idea Pins in the app, giving the platform’s version of Stories another opportunity to increase traffic.
Users may now access the new Board Sticker in the Idea Pin creation flow’s sticker tray. When you tap that, you’ll be given the option to connect to one of your current boards and choose from a number of different display styles for your Board Sticker, which you can then put on your frame.
In turn, the sticker will take readers to your specific subject board, maybe highlighting more of your Pin content and increasing referral traffic from those links. You are not limited to one sticker every frame since creators will be able to add up to five board stickers per picture and up to 20 board stickers in total inside an Idea Pin sequence. The ability to exhibit private or externally generated boards will not be available to creators, but they will be able to tag any public board they control. With the holiday season quickly coming, it could be worthwhile to plan for, say, a Christmas gift idea board that you could then link to in future Idea Pin initiatives. The upfront aspect of the presentation might also assist in generating more clicks.
Nevertheless, not everyone has access to it yet. When we hear back from Pinterest on the release of the option, we’ll update this site. It could be a good idea to use direct links back to your larger collection of Pins to promote certain goods in order to draw attention to your offers.
