Was it not a hassle to send 30 photos repeatedly? But, not anymore. WhatsApp, the instant messaging app, now permits users to send 100 photos or videos at once. Users can now share more media in one go rather than dividing it into small amounts and sending them separately.
With the increase in the limit for sending bulk photos or videos at once, it has eased up and helped save time for its users in an efficient way for friends, family, colleagues, and start-up business owners who regularly send media in bulk amounts. Earlier, this feature was available only for Android users, but now the feature has been extended to iOS users as well.
This flexibility in sharing media has also been accompanied by two new features. Firstly, adding captions to documents, which was earlier only permitted while sending photos and videos, and secondly, releasing longer group subjects and descriptions. Now, the group subject limit has been increased from 25 characters to 100 characters, and the group description limit has been increased from 512 characters to 2048 characters. This has helped make groups more identifiable than before.
Also, based on what was said, Meta will soon let you send pictures in their original form without compromising their quality. This means the quality of the media shared would not deteriorate, as at present, WhatsApp compresses the images or videos shared.
WhatsApp adds new features on a regular basis to make the platform more user-friendly and to improve its users’ experiences with it. With the new features being introduced, it remains one of the most popular messaging tools, with up to 2000 million active users.
